Located off the Skyline ridge in the Oakland hills, Kenilworth Stables is inspired by a rich history. Built in the 1930s, the property has been a fixture in the lives of generations of horsemen. It is no doubt a magical place. Before its more recent ownership as Redwood Ranch, the property was known as Fox Ridge Farm under Maydo Lorimer. It was a wonderful place to grow up and produced some very successful riders - among them Julia Nagler. With fond memories, the Nagler family purchased the barn in 2015 with the intention of bringing back what so many riders loved about Fox Ridge Farm. In tribute to a rich history, Kenilworth Stables is a newly renovated haven for avid equestrians. Owner Julia Nagler, trainers Andrea Totten, Nia Tahani, and Clara Di Bartolo, alongside head groom Rigo Soto, work together with the goal of recreating what they had growing up with at Fox Ridge Farm - with a modern twist. Instruction in both riding and horsemanship, impeccable care for the horses, and an involved community of members, make Kenilworth a wonderful place to be.
